Requests to the City of Somerville

  1. The City of Somerville should ensure that Emerald obtain a Variance instead of a Special Permit because of the size and complexity of the Project.

  2. The City of Somerville should start a new process involving the community, Planning Board and the Neighbors. The deals that Emerald has made with other Neighbors should be nullified so as to give a fair community involvement in the process.

  3. Emerald MUST reduce the size of the building, increase the setbacks from Dr. Butt's house and reduce the size of the underground parking. In addition, the building should conform to the neighboring houses and surroundings.

The Zoning Board should demand that Emerald fully implement the Zoning ordinances required by law.
